Nate Roberts was an affable character; liked by his colleagues and the public alike. Nate could be quite the charmer where women were concerned. When he arrived at Sun Hill he itched to get stuck in on the action, in time he seemed to mature, understanding that his brains as much as his brawn could bring results. Chosen to work at Deansgate School as a temp. safety schools officer Nate relished the role and learnt very quickly to interact with teenagers and help them with their problems. During this time he become closer to their teacher, Becky James although their relationship was short lived. Viewers didn’t see Nate alongside every other serving officer in the final episode, there was no mention of his leaving… so viewers may wonder whether he is still at Sun Hill quietly still charming the women of Canley?
Trivia
We are lead to believe that Nate was named after Sarah-Louise Hawkins’ son Nate, who was born in 2007.
Unlike the rest of the cast, Nate did not appear in the final scene of the final episode, we said goodbye to Nate in the episode, Death Knock.
